You know, I see a lot of negativity around here. Just because we're dead and imprisoned, doesn't mean we have to lose sight of what's important. Like it says in the good book: A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Now, I hardly think the Admiral wants to see so many frowning faces! Despite waylaying us from our final destinations at the last second to be subject to his will and whims like some kinda, I don't know, mad god...

Anyway, let's not forget that even in outer space, the Good Lord's light can still shine upon us! Even those of us who might have a little difficulty with the sun. Here are some inspirational words that may bring comfort to the dead among us, including yours truly:

Holy Jesus, every day
Keep us in the narrow way,
And when earthly things are past,
Bring our ransomed souls at last
Where they need no star to guide.
Where no clouds Thy glory hide.

[And then, with relish:] Amen! [He grins. WASN'T THAT BIT OF PROSELYTIZING FUN?]
